Welcome! As of the fall of 2008 this blog is changing. This is the place where I will reflect on life and the world around me, from a personal point of view. I will continue to blog about K12 education Web 2.0 issues and ideas, at my other blog- Life In The Fast Lane (http://stevesoko.edublogs.org). I am Steve Sokoloski, and I live in Eastford, CT, USA.

Reminds me of a quote from Robt. Heinlein. Someday I'll post it on my blog.
"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specilization is for insects."
